Dr. Victor Oltra is currently an Associate Professor of Management at the University of Valencia in Spain. He has over 25 years of academic experience. He has taught across all higher education levels (bachelors, masters, doctoral, and also executive education), and has also participated in many competitive research projects. His current teaching and research interests revolve around (strategic) human resource management, knowledge and innovation management, business ethics and corporate social responsibility, cross-cultural management, and innovative methods in management education. During the past years, Dr. Oltra has been mainly instructing multi-cultural groups of students.
In addition to his extensive teaching and research experience at the University of Valencia and other Spanish universities, Dr. Oltra has also been many times a visiting scholar at foreign universities for various reasons – including training, teaching, and research purposes. He has visited universities at diverse countries such as Colombia, Costa Rica, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Russia, UK, and USA.
Dr. Oltra has presented over 80 papers at (mostly international) academic conferences, and has published his research outcomes (around 60 publications) in highly reputed international scientific journals, such as, among others: Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, Human Resource Management, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Knowledge Management, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Business Ethics: A European Review, Human Resource Management Journal, International Journal of Management Education, International Entrepreneurship and Management Journal, etc. He also serves regularly as journal reviewer, and has been member of scientific committees at several (national and international) academic conferences.
