Emilija Oleškevičiūtė

Lecturer Emilija Oleškevičiūtė holds an MSc in Work and Organizational Psychology from Maastricht University (the Netherlands), a BSc in Psychology from Mykolas Romeris University (Lithuania) and has participated in the ERASMUS+ exchange study program at Masaryk University (Czech Republic). Emilija has worked as an intern for the personnel division at the Bank of Lithuania, as a research intern at Maastricht University, and as a visiting scholar at the University of Bamberg (Germany). Moreover, Emilija was part of Global Mobility of Employees (GLOMO) project (https://glomo.eu/) as an Early Stage Researcher. Her project has received funding from the European Union's H2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No. 765355. Since 2022 Emilija became the Director of International Business and Communication Programme at ISM. Simultaneously she is working towards completing her PhD in Leadership and Management at Cranfield University (United Kingdom).

Emilija is experienced at teaching and supervising masters’ students in the field of Effective Cross-Cultural Management. The current aim of her research is to explore Self-Initiated Repatriates’ (SIRs’) career experiences upon return to their home country. Specifically focusing on SIRs’ career capital transferability, factors influencing this process, and practical ways of improving Global Mobility of Employees on individual, organizational, and broader contextual levels.

Emilija speaks English, Lithuanian, Polish, and Russian fluently. She also has a basic knowledge of Spanish and Dutch. She is passionate about travelling, writing, and exploring herself in various areas of arts, sports, and culture. Her future ambitions include starting an individual career coaching consultancy.
