From the ground up, and in existing organizations, I build teams,
programs, and organizations to create and take advantage of
opportunities for change. This is my passion, and the key to my
success in making an impact. My career path is uniquely
unconventional, and that gives me my ability to make impact in new,
diverse situations, and the resilience to adapt to change.
Behind everything I do is a passion to help people, organizations, and
communities achieve their maximum potential, to bring my values
around collaboration, equity, and perseverance to every business or
community action. I ask "what if?" and "why not?" I believe in the
underlying potential of each individual and each organization to
achieve whatever they can dream, and I take great pride in being able
to challenge, coach, mentor, train, and collaborate with people to do
so. thrive in fast moving, ever-changing environments, with
concurrent projects and deadlines. I bring my foundation in the tech
industry to all I do, combining the drive for innovation with my
passion for social good, at Silicon Valley speed and with innovative
thinking.
I founded a nonprofit in the middle of the pandemic, a for profit
company in a recession, founded many community organizations and
been on the leadership team of many more, and served as an
appointed official, in areas ranging from sustainability to mental
health. I have been a community leadership educator, academic
lecturer, corporate training, and consulting workshop leader.
