I'm an economist with interests in monetary policy and financial stability. My research is particularly focused on issues related to formation of inflation expectations, monetary policy transmission and financial crises.
I joined the Bank of Lithuania in 2013 and currently I am a Principal economist at the Monetary Policy Division of the Economics Department. My main responsibility is the preparation of the Bank of Lithuania’s representatives (including the Governor of the Bank of Lithuania) for participation in monetary policy discussions in various international organisations such as the European Central Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the Bank of International Settlements, etc. In addition, I conduct research in the fields of monetary policy and financial stability. I was seconded to the European Central Bank for 9 months in 2018 and the Bank of International Settlements for 3 months in 2022. I have a Master’s degree in Economic policy from Vilnius university.
