I have studied philosophy at Vilnius University and at CEU in Budapest. My doctoral thesis was focused on the debates regarding the mind-body problem in contemporary philosophy of mind. My interests have gravitated since then towards more fundamental problems in philosophy of language and various aspects of formal logic. In 2018 I was elected to work as the Director of the Institute of Philosophy at Vilnius University.
When not engaged in academic activities I am a family man, with a predominantly interested in sailing, photography and music.
