Dr. Pijus Krūminas completed his doctoral studies in economics at ISM University of Management and Economics and master studies in political science at Vytautas Magnus University. His interests mostly lie in political economy, especially from the game theory perspective. Methodologically Pijus is also interested in simulation games, their development and use for educational and professional purposes. He has been involved in teaching for nearly a decade.

In addition to lecturing and academic research, Pijus also carries out contract research at Visionary Analytics, helping Lithuanian and European institutions in the fields of innovation and digitalisation. He has experience of analytical work in the public sector as well. During his career, Pijus has carried out research for such institutions as European Commission’s DG RTD, DG Connect, and Joint Research Centre, European Space Agency and various ministries of the Republic of Lithuania.
