Prof. dr. Virginija Poškutė (PhD) is an economist and social policy analyst. Currently she is a visiting scholar at Berkeley University, California. Virginija was Fulbright researcher at Darden Graduate School, University of Virginia (USA), periodically increases her academic qualifications at leading educational institutions, such as Harvard Business School (USA), London School of Economics (UK), Lorange Institute of Business Zurich (Switzerland) and Fudan University (China) among others. She studied at several educational institutions: Vilnius University (Lithuania), Roskilde University (Denmark), University of Bath (UK) and Tilburg University (The Netherlands). Virginija has extensive international job experience (UNDP/Lithuania; International Master’s Programme “European Social Policy Analysis” by CEPS/INSTEAD, Luxembourg and Leuven University, Belgium; worked in various projects for OECD, the World Bank, UN, UNDP, UNICEF, European Commission as well as national institutions (Ministry of Social Security and Labour, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Economics, various NGOs) on economic and social issues.
